- Travel by train The easiest and cheapest way into town from Fiumicino is via the hourly non-stop first-class train from the airport station. More frequent & cheaper still is a stopping train, the Metropolitano service, that serves Rome’s subsidiary stations, but not Termini.
- Travel by underground To join Rome’s two-line underground web get off this commuter train at Tiburtina. Tickets for both trains are available from the ticket office & machines at Fiumicino station.

- Travel by bus The best way to get to Stadio Flamino is by Metro. Metro line A and get of at (would you belive it) Flaminio. The stadium is about a ten min walk from there. It only takes about 10 mins on the metro from Termini to the Flamino stop. Lots of people would also get a taxi which will cost about 35,000 lire £12 sterling about 15 punts
- Where to drink… A good place to grab a beer is the only Irish owned bar in Rome, Finnegans is 5 mins from the main train station and 5 mins from the coloseum, the address is Via Leonina 66, have fun and say ‘Hi’ to Michaelfrom the the six nations team!!!
