Where to drink... From experience getting a beer near the stadium is hard work, Expect long queues at the two bars near the stadium ( ther may be more now?) After the game poular sports bars in Paris include The Bowler in Rue d'Artois and the Long Hop in Boulevard St Sermain in 5th Anondissement.

Covering more than 30,000 square meters (326,700 square feet) and costing £260 Milliion, the new "Stade de France" (Stadium of France) is the largest sports stadium in the country. Built in Saint-Denis, France, the new stadium seats 80,000 fans and contains stores, restaurants, luxury boxes, conference rooms, offices and receiving halls.

Built in the shape of an ellipse, similar to one of Saturn's rings, the roof appears to "float" above the stadium, suspended by 18 steel needles at a height of 45 meters (148.5 feet) above the ground.

Laminated was used to help build this stunning architectural achievement, adding natural light while solving acoustical, thermal and other architectural design challenges.

Curiously enough the toilets in the most modern stadium in the world are Gallic squatters - the sort without seats - which belong in the last century. Trains take you directly to the ground or if you’re into hiking an hour from the Garde De Norde.

There appeared to be only two bars near to the ground which as you’d expect were full to busrting.
